The autumn collection shows my first originally card designs. I later added to the range and a few of these were selected for publication. The range shows a lot of delicate and detailed work, in contrast with the Spring collection that is more clean and fresh. The use of colour and imagery is quite different with every card, I experimented a lot with this collection, sampling different tones and layers of collage. One card in particular, “Butterfly Garden” is yet to appear in the “The Big Book of Contemporary Illustrations”. The piece will be demonstrating pattern and texture and will be in the section “environment”. The book will be out later this year autumn 2009.
