This collection shows how you can transform designs, into 3D work or large illustrations for book publication. I had so much fun producing this type of work. It meant that I could work openly and be more experimental with my media. The dresses were plain pieces of fabrics that I printed on and then worked back into. The process was just reversed, showing how one 3D illustration could then become a card. The large card that I had a lot of fun with was a gift to some one close to me. I used die cut for the inside fold and mesh fabric to board the text. The front was collaged with beads and has a double bow ribbon for a finishing touch. I was influenced by the designs that are on the market today, though using no computer work, just craft. This card can be requested if required for an occasional gift. I love working with pattern and texture, involving bright colours and shapes. I have at least ten wrap designs that I would like to take forward for print. These were made for stationary sets for the cards, including tags, bags and boxes.
